What is a Self Serve Auto Parts Recycler?
If I can’t pull my own parts can someone assist me?
Baughman’s employees do not assist customers in the yard with part removal. If you need assistance with moving items you have pulled please contact the front counter and we will arrange help!.
You can usually ask a fellow customer in for assistance as York is a friendly city!
Can I buy a vehicle out of the yard?
Vehicles in the yard are not available for resale.
What parts can’t you sell?
Some airbags, Catalytic Converters, and we reserve the right to withhold any part from final sale.
Do you inventory of all the Parts?
To help keep our prices low, we do not keep track of our inventory. We add fresh parts vehicles daily. We invite you to come down and see what we have. When you arrive, we will print out a list of makes and models that have the same part that you are looking for. Don’t forget to search our online inventory now!
Why do you take all fluids out of the cars?
For the safety of our customers and to protect the environment, we reuse, resell or recycle all fluids, CFC’s, batteries and mercury switches.

Do you pay more for certain makes, models, or vehicle types?
Offers are based on a few factors–including the vehicle’s weight, condition, and current parts/scrap value–rather than the make or model alone. Trucks and SUVs sometimes bring a higher offer due to their weight, but every vehicle gets an individual and fair quote.
Do you take non-running, wrecked, or damaged cars?
Absolutely. Whether your car won’t start, was in an accident, or has been sitting for years, we’ll still make you a fair cash offer. You don’t need to fix anything or clean it up before we pick it up.

Will you take multiple cars?
Yes. Just let us know when you call or get a quote online that you have more than one vehicle.
Do you buy unwanted vehicles? How much do you pay?
